Altough this is not a Matsumoku pruduct (being made early in '90) it still is a Made in Japan instrument, with all the quality it deserves.

This line (and all high level models) were made in Japan by the AriaProII US brand. At that time, medium to lower models were produced in Korea . 

A great modern design, woods combination, electronic circuit, oil finish, mechanics......

All provide for an outstanding instrument.
