This is one of the best copies of the late '70 B.C. Rich Mokingbird.
Actually, to the exact shape, wood and construction quality and exactly the same mechanics, there were included top branded Pickups, being the DiMarzio Dual Sound (Split-able version of the Superdistortion).
Overall, probably a superior guitar even to the original.
Two high-end versions of this model were produced: the MK-1600N and MK-1800WA, the first being Natural finish and the second Walnut finish. Lower models MK-1300 and MK-1500 were available, respectively, with different pickups => no DiMarzio.
The 1600 and 1800 were the same guitar, with the only difference of body woods and wings wood separator (about 1cm of wood strip separates the two wings from the neckthrough central section).
Now, for this particular guitar of my collection, this is a super-rare MK-1800 Natural instead of an MK-1600, model that is supposed to have the Natural finish, mainly because of the wood separator.
In fact, there also are MK-1600 WA (instead of Natural finish), which demonstrates that very few exceptions very made on the models vs finishes.
