VE-565 Entertainer

One of the best (IMO) Vantage guitars in design is the Entertainer VE-565, which also has a great sound.

The pickups are the MMK-53, the same of the TS-600 (below  in this page you can listen to a sound test for both).

The sound is smooth and thick, closer to a Les Paul type guitar rather than a 335 or 339.

In fact it is not a real semi-hollow guitar but a so called semi-solid, that is a solid ash body with a laminated ash top which has few millimeters distance from the main block, on the two sides of the guitar.

The available switch allows for coil-splitting the Protomatic III pickups.
