An outstanding guitar in terms of manufacturing, playing feel and sound quality.

Made in '79, this model is the early version of the more known AS-200, also used by John Scofield.

But this one (2630) has some more details, distinguishing it from the later sisters.

Super 80 pickup, with a slightly higher volume than the Super 58 (e.g. of the AM-205), are very clean, well defined and crisp clear, yet delivering pure semiacoustic sounds.

Construction quality is an evident sign of all Ibanez high-end models, like this one.
